WINERY

Accompanying your meals there will be another noble product of our land; wine; the variety of tastes, colours and areas in the Umbrian territory have been reassumed in the four “ roads of Wine” which run through beautiful countryside, rich in wine-making culture; the wines selected and listed in the present “wine list”, are divided up according to which “wine road” they belong to.

“The Road of Wine and Cantico”
Situated among soft green hills, and mild atmospheric villages, panoramic crinali, which conserve, to the passing eye, the myth of an Umbria still to be discovered. It follows the ancient Roman roadways and gives value to typical Umbrian vines such as Grecchetto, Trebbiano and SanGiovese.

“The Road of Sagrantino”
Situated in the green heart of Italy and crossing a network of routes which lose themselves in verdant and luscious vegetation, which surrounds, as if to protect, the small, characteristic “borghi” or walled hilltop towns, rich in local history, archeological sites, and medieval castles; the precious vine, Sagrantino is considered native although there are various theories about its origin.

“The Trasimeno Hills Wine Road”
The lay of the hilly land, the optimal exposure to sunlight and the various microclimates have made the hills surrounding Trasimeno lake particularly well adapted to the cultivation of vines and have allowed the production of traditional wines to be combined with that of high quality modern wines derived from the grapes of Cabernet, Pinot, Merlot, Chardonnay, Reisling, italico, Ciliegiolo…..

“The Etrusco-Roman Wine Road”
In the historic territory of the Etruscans and Romans, divided by the river Tevere, rich in cultural roots, can be found Orvieto, Amelia, Lago di Corbara ( Corbara Lake), where traditional Umbrian vinyards are cultivated, used in the production of wines that have been appreciated since ancient times.

For those wishing to allow themselves a treat, a trip outside the region, our wine list offers a wide selection of national wines of top quality, particular attention being paid to Tuscan red wines.
